Yesterday, the Federal Finance Minister, Jim Flaherty announced that they will be making even more changes to the finance rules in Canada. Last year CMHC had announced changes to the lending guidelines which created an early surge in the housing market. On January 5, I was interviewed by Erin Chalmers with Global News in Edmonton with regards to the recent announcement from the city that property prices were approximately 9% above the city's assessed value. Question from a Client: I am just debating whether I should get a one bedroom or two condo, does it really make that much of a difference for resale? What are your thoughts?
